Last year, Chevelle was nominated for Rock Artist of the Year at the iHeart Radio Music Award. This accomplishment is another addition to the band’s long line of achievements. Over the year, Chevelle has earned numerous accolades, including two GMA Dove Awards, three Billboard Music Award nominations, and five Loudwide Music Award nominations. The band has also consistently charted on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. In 2002, they made their debut on the chart with the release of the 1999 debut single, “Point #1.” The following year, Chevelle made their phenomenal breakthrough with “The Red.” The single notably entered three Billboard charts, including peaking at number 56 on the Billboard Hot 100, their highest ever on the chart.

In 2003, the band released “Send the Pain Below,” which topped both the Alternative and Mainstream Rock charts. The single was spawned by the band’s major label debut, Wonder What’s Next, which notably debuted at number 14 on the Billboard 200. Over the years, Chevelle has released several rock staples. Two of their singles have been certified platinum, while five are certified gold. In 2021, Chevelle dropped their latest album NIRATIAS (which stands for Nothing is Real and This is a Simulation). The album is recorded to be the band’s first concept album, featuring instrumental and spoken word tracks. The lead single, “Self Destructor,” is Chevelle’s latest song to hit number 1.

Speaking of number 1s, Three Days Grace just tied with Shinedown on the most number 1 hits on Billboard’s Mainstream Rock chart. Three Days Grace has a total of 17 number songs and Billboard has ranked them number 3 on the Greatest of All Time Mainstream Rock Artists. The Canadian rock outfit, having made their incredible breakthrough in 2003 with their self-titled debut album, has consistently performed well on Billboard.
