THE WOW! SIGNAL NORTH AMERICAN TOUR

It’s a sign… err a signal, perhaps? It’s time to start marking your calendars and booking your tickets for MUSE — THE WOW! SIGNAL NORTH AMERICAN TOUR. Kicking off a new era in full swing, fans are delighted to hear that the “Madness” rockers are finally releasing the full record, after we got a taste through their recent singles “Unravelling” and “Be With You.” Taking on the summer heat, it’s bound to be a fiery showcase of their best hits, deep cuts, favorites, and new anthems that’ll get the crowd going hard.

The tour follows the album’s release scheduled for June 26th. Muse will be flying across major venues in the U.S. and Canada, and for this big night in Ridgefield, the band will see support from Portugal. The Man and The Temper Trap.

A SIGNAL OF NEW MUSIC

New music is on the rise as MUSE looks forward to their fans hearing “The Wow! Signal” in full. While we got an early taste through “Unravelling” and “Be With You,” the rest of the record is definitely something to look forward to. It’s the band taking on a new era of rock music with a new generation of listeners. Sharing heavy beats with a genre-bending mix of progressive metal and synthwave to their signature rock-tuned sound, it’s an exciting chapter in their book. 

Does the name sound kind of peculiar? Well, it’s actually inspired from an interstellar mystery that happened back in 1977. A  72-second radio burst was detected from a constellation, suggesting a possible extraterrestrial source — an astronomer named the sequence “6EQUJ5” and scribbled “Wow!” right beside it. As the mystery lives on, pop culture was definitely stunned by that Wow! Signal. 

To celebrate the album announcement, Muse did the unthinkable… launched a special tablet 20 miles into the atmosphere, made possible by a partnership with Sent Into Space. Jet-set for something extraterrestrial,  the album is expected to offer larger-than-life servings of what Muse does best. Since 1994, they’ve been rocking it all out.

Muse describes the album as “a mix of cosmic mystery, existential hope, and the exhilarating possibility of contact with something far greater than ourselves.”

As an album that follows their iconic 2022 release “Will of the People” — an album that charted at #1 on the Top Rock Albums and Top Alternative Albums charts, this new era is met with sky-high expectations as the band keeps on teasing something that’s out of this world.

Right under the stars, MUSE is down for a huge night at Cascades Amphitheater, right in the eastern edge of Ridgefield. Formerly known as the RV Inn Style Resorts Amphitheater, the huge lawn packs a capacity of over 18,000 in audience. It’s definitely bound to be a wild night as everyone rocks out to Muse’s new music.
