Four years since their last tour, Hootie and The Blowfish are finally reuniting at the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater on Friday, July 19th, with Edwin McCain and Collective Soul as special guests. The 43-date tour kicks off on May 30th in Dallas and rolls through until September 28th in West Palm Beach, hitting iconic stadiums like Boston’s Fenway Park along the way.

South Carolina alternative band Hootie & the Blowfish is recognized for creating a straightforward and uplifting sound that resonated with '90s audiences who were tired of grunge's bleakness. The original quartet consists of Darius Rucker, Mark Bryan, Dean Felber, and Jim Sonefeld, who will all be present during the summer tour. Over the years, their Grammy award-winning career has featured more than 25 million albums sold on top of their Diamond-certified debut record, Cracked Rear View.

“Basically overnight, our lives changed when Cracked Rear View did what it did – and yet as we quickly moved from vans and college bars to tour busses and arenas, not much else changed with how we approached making music and sharing it with our fans,” explains lead singer and co-guitarist, Bryan.

“Edwin McCain told someone at the time that touring with us felt like summer camp with trucks… and that’s exactly how we want next year to feel, too. We can’t wait for you to join us!” he added.

For those looking to upgrade their experience, the tour also offers a variety of VIP packages for fans, including a backstage tour, autographed merch, photo opportunities with the entire band, and more!

“The group’s music simply feels good right now; its modest but assured blend of various American idioms is a convincing argument against the factionalism that defines the Trump era. That Rucker is a black man thriving in a historically white cultural space only adds to the sense that Hootie has become a band whose victory is worth cheering,” the Los Angeles Times shares.

Whether you're up high in the covered stadium or kicking back on the lawn, satisfaction is guaranteed in every corner of the Sunlight Supply Amphitheater with its great ambiance and top audio gear! Casting lines, hooking tickets, and reeling in the excitement! Secure your seats for Hootie & The Blowfish on Friday, July 19th.
